Trondheim Business School was established in 1967, and is today the second largest public business school in Norway. About 1 100 full-time students and 200 part time students attend our different programs: Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Auditing and Accounting, Master of Science in Business Administration, Master of Public Administration, Master in Management of Technology, and Master in Knowledge and Innovation Management. We collaborate with Copenhagen Business School and Nord-Trøndelag University College offering two of these master programs (MPA and MKIM). Trondheim Business School has applied for accreditation of a PhD program in management control which we are planning to offer as soon as possible.
The academic staff conducts research in business economics and administration: e.g. management accounting and control, finance, economics, strategy, organization and leadership, innovation management, and marketing. Trondheim Business School has about 10 PhD students enrolled in the National Research School in Business Economics and Administration.
